Members, Teams & Controllers
This page covers how to invite and manage people in Kanso, build teams, and assign document controllers so your quality system reflects who is actually responsible for what.
Inviting members
You add people to Kanso by inviting them by email. Each invitation can be resent if it is missed, or revoked if it was sent in error or is no longer needed.

Send an invitation
Enter the person's email address to invite them into the company. - •
Resend if needed
If the invitation is missed, resend it so the person receives a fresh link. - •
Revoke when necessary
Revoke an invitation that was sent in error or is no longer required.
Awaiting setup vs. active
A member only counts as active once they have finished setting up their account, which includes setting a password and completing onboarding. Until they finish, they appear in an awaiting setup state.
Membership is per company
Membership in Kanso is scoped per company. The same person can therefore hold different roles in different companies, so an individual who works across more than one company is managed correctly in each of them without conflict.
Building teams
Teams group people together and can be given identity and structure so they are easy to recognize and reference across the platform.

Document controllers
You can assign document controllers to a person, to a team, or set them to auto. This lets you match control of documents to however your organization prefers to distribute that responsibility.
Managing people
Admins can trigger a password reset for a member when needed. The people list is designed to give you a clear picture of your membership at a glance.

- Who invited each person
- Join date
The people list can also be exported.
