The Lean Six Sigma Engine

Kanso runs a full Lean Six Sigma program next to your ISO 9001 quality system. The DMAIC toolkit lives inside each improvement project and works against that project's own data, so the analysis never drifts away from the improvement it belongs to.

The toolkit lives inside the project

Rather than scattering statistical tools across the navigation, Kanso puts the complete DMAIC toolkit inside each improvement project. When you open a project, you open its charter, its measurements, and its analysis together. Every calculation is grounded in that project's own data, which keeps the story of the improvement intact from Define through Control.

Because the tools are scoped per project, an X-chart, a capability study, and an FMEA all stay attached to the work that produced them. There is no separate library of orphaned spreadsheets to reconcile later — the evidence and the improvement are the same record.

Tip:Scoping tools to the project means an auditor or a teammate can open one place and see the define-measure-analyze-improve-control trail without hunting across the app.

The DMAIC toolkit

Kanso ships the core Lean Six Sigma tools you expect from a mature program, each wired to the project it sits in:

Project charter, SIPOC, and CTQ/VOC to scope the problem and translate the voice of the customer.
Sigma level and DPMO calculation to baseline current performance.
Hypothesis testing and MSA / Gage R&R to confirm your data can be trusted.
Statistical process control — X-charts, Cp/Cpk capability, Pareto, and attribute charts (p, np, c, u) — with Nelson run-rule detection for out-of-control signals.
Root-cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and the Pugh / solution selection matrix to find and choose the fix.
Control plan, value-stream map (VSM), tollgate reviews, and Design of Experiments (DOE) to lock in and optimize the result.

One shared statistics engine

A single statistics engine powers every calculation across the toolkit, from a sigma level to a capability index to a control chart's run-rule checks. Using one engine keeps the math consistent wherever a number appears, so a Cpk shown on a capability study means the same thing as the Cpk referenced in a control plan.
